Our latest Sittysites updates are LIVE! This release brings exciting new tools to help you fill bookings faster, streamline your onboarding processes, manage memberships more easily, and further customize the experience for your Families and Sitters.
As always, these improvements are designed to give you greater flexibility and control while making everyday operations simpler for your team.
Send Direct Booking Requests to Multiple Sitters
Families now have even more flexibility when requesting care!
Instead of selecting just one Sitter for a Direct Booking, Families can now select up to five Sitters for the same request. The request is sent to the selected Sitters, and the first Sitter to accept receives the booking.
This helps Families secure care more quickly without waiting for one Sitter to respond before reaching out to another. This is especially helpful for last-minute requests, busy schedules, or Families who already have several favorite Sitters they love working with.
Admin Account Checklists
We’ve added a new tool to help your team stay organized when onboarding and managing Families and Sitters!
Admins can now create customized checklists for Family and Sitter accounts, defining the steps your agency wants to track for each type of account.
Whether you’re managing onboarding requirements, reviewing documents, verifying references, or completing internal administrative tasks, you can create a consistent process that works for your agency.
Here’s how it works
- Create Your Checklist: Go to Settings Admin Checklist to add and manage checklist items.
- Track Progress: Open an individual Family or Sitter account to view the applicable checklist and mark items as completed.
- Keep Your Team Aligned: Quickly see which steps have been completed and which still need attention.
This is particularly helpful for agencies with multiple Admins or structured onboarding processes, giving everyone a clearer picture of each account’s progress.
Helpful Tip! Consider creating checklist items for background checks, reference verification, required documents, or onboarding calls to ensure important steps aren’t overlooked.
More Control Over Membership Plans
Managing your membership offerings just got easier!
Admins can now add and remove Membership Plans directly within Sittysites, giving you greater flexibility as your agency’s pricing and service offerings evolve.
New visibility into your existing memberships
- Active Member Counts Each Membership Plan now displays how many active members are enrolled.
- Family Membership Details Click the member count to see which Families are enrolled, their email addresses, whether their membership is set to renew or end, and the applicable date.
- Membership Protection Plans with active members cannot be removed or disabled, helping prevent accidental interruptions to existing memberships and renewals.
- Flexible Plan Visibility Want to stop offering a plan to new Families while keeping existing members enrolled? Simply turn off Visible to Client. Current memberships can continue renewing normally.
Helpful Tip! If you’re retiring a Membership Plan, hide it from new Families first by turning off Visible to Client. Once all existing memberships have ended or Families have been moved to another plan, you can remove or disable it.
These enhancements give you greater control over your membership offerings while protecting the experience of your existing Families.
More Customization for Sitter Profiles & Applications
We’ve added two more options to help you tailor your agency’s Sitter experience.
- Sitter Age Visibility Agencies can now choose whether a Sitter’s age is displayed to Families using a new Visibility toggle.
- Optional Application Photos Agencies can now decide whether a profile photo is required during the Sitter Application process. Use the new Required toggle to make photos mandatory or optional based on your preferences.
These settings give you additional control over the information collected from applicants and what Families see when browsing Sitter profiles.
More Flexible Agreements & Cancellation Messaging
We’ve made a few additional improvements to help you manage important documents and communications.
- Editable Cancellation Messaging The text displayed in the appointment cancellation pop-up can now be customized, allowing you to communicate your agency’s policies and expectations more clearly.
- Required Agreements in Documents Required account Agreements now appear directly within the Documents tab, making them easier for Families and Sitters to locate and complete.
Additional Platform Improvements
We’ve also made several improvements throughout Sittysites:
- Multi-Date Job Calendar Multi-day opportunities now display each individual date on the Sitter Job Board calendar for easier scheduling.
- More Reliable Notifications We’ve resolved issues affecting Job Board and Group Message notifications.
- Improved Multi-Date Cancellations When a Sitter cancels one date of a Multi-Date Booking, only the affected date is reopened rather than the entire booking.
- Accurate Off-Platform Payout Fees Platform fees are no longer charged on Sitter wages when payouts are handled outside Sittysites.
- Sitter Application Notifications Sitters now receive their New Application email when they first submit an application.
- Membership Booking Accuracy We’ve corrected an issue where booking hours could display incorrectly when a membership was required.
